Police Asst. Chief Manmeet Bhagtana Named Woman Of The Year

NEW HAVEN, CT — The Greater New Haven Section of National Council of Negro Women this week named New Haven Police Department Assistant Chief Manmeet Bhagtana as Woman of the Year.
The organization celebrated its 88th Founder's Day and the vision of Dr. McLeod Bethune.
"Assistant Chief Bhagtana is truly an inspiration and a remarkable woman," police wrote on their Facebook page. "She has made a lasting impact on the city of New Haven. Congratulations, Chief, you are deserving of this recognition. May your positive influence motivate others to follow your footsteps."
