16-Year-Old Driver Killed In New Milford Crash: Police
First responders to the scene found a GMC Acadia off the road and through a fence with significant damage, according to police.
NEW MILFORD, CT — A teenaged boy was killed in a single-car car crash in New Milford Monday night.
William Neeb, an 11th-Grade student at New Milford High School, was an honors student, member of the school's Athletic Council, and a two-year member of the NMHS hockey team, according to a social media post by New Milford Superintendent of Schools Janet Parlato.
The New Milford Police Department received word of the accident at around 8:09 p.m.

The New Milford Police Department Crash Reconstruction Team responded and processed the scene, and the investigation remains ongoing.
Hearst Connecticut reported that the student killed in the crash was a member of the hockey team. Students and coaches held a memorial for the victim at the crash site, where hockey sticks were displayed, Hearst reported.
The hockey team's coach Hank Dietter told Hearst Connecticut that the student was a "beautiful soul." (Read the full Hearst CT story here).
