1. Village Center for the Arts provides a nurturing environment for artistic creativity and development through educational fine art programs and events for all ages. Anyone looking to support the organization can take a class, donate to fundraisers or donate directly on their website.

2. Animal Welfare Society, Inc. was founded in 1965 as an independent, non-profit, non-destroy animal rescue organization. Their mission is to offer refuge to homeless and abandoned dogs and cats and place them in loving, responsible homes.
3. The Children's Center of New Milford, Inc. provides top quality early childhood education, childcare and daycare for children ranging in age from 3 months old to 8 years old. Their programs include half day nursery school, all day preschool and daycare for infants, toddlers, 3s & 4s and before and after public school for K-2.

4. The Pratt Nature Center is a 205-acre wildlife preserve and environmental education center with a mountain, meadows, woods, wildlife, gardens, farm animals, a stream, a pond and wetlands. Pratt Nature Center offers hiking, bird-watching, community garden plots and nature education for all ages.
5. The Northville Volunteer Fire Department has six pieces of apparatus and about 70 highly trained firefighters that have been serving the Northville section of New Milford since 1963.
