'Beloved' Family-Owned Frozen Yogurt Shop Closes In New Milford
The business shut down after 12 years in operation, leaving a vacancy on the town green, according to a report.
NEW MILFORD, CT — Tasty Waves, a frozen yogurt shop that's been in operation since 2012, closed last month, according to Hearst Connecticut Media. The 7 Main St. business has been listed for sale since May.
Tasty Waves is listed on LoopNet for $125,000. It's described as a "thriving and beloved frozen yogurt establishment in the heart of New Milford... located on the picturesque green within the vibrant village."
The listing goes on to note that this "well-established gem boasts a loyal customer base and prime foot traffic..."

All of Tasty Wave's furniture, fixtures, and equipment are included in the asking price, making a "turnkey" experience for potential owners.
Tasty Waves, an independent, family-owned cafe, served 12 handles of self-serve frozen yogurt, gelato, and vegan sorbets with over 60 toppings, as well as milkshakes, ice cream floats, smoothies, coffee drinks, bagels, and more.

The shop's website doesn't mention that the business is no longer operating but under its hours section, all days are listed as "closed." Their Facebook page noted that they would be going on winter break as of Dec. 15.
