A New Milford resident won $50,000 on a $50,000 Cashword scratch ticket that was sold at New Milly Smoke Shop at 243 Danbury Rd. in New Milford, according to lottery officials.
The CT Lottery has changed its policy on announcing winners by not including the winners’ full names on the list in order to protect them from potential scams, according to officials.
