Bridgewater Fair 2016: Weekend-Long Farm Event is Jam Packed with Food and Fun

BRIDGEWATER, CT — The Bridgewater Fair kicked off Friday night at 6:45 p.m. with a Fireman's Parade. Fire companies from all over the state came to participate in the annual tradition and showed off their shiniest rigs to cheering crowds.

For the first time in decades, the fair is serving beer. Bridgewater has been a dry town for many years so the new addition of ice cold hops and barely is welcome among fair-goers who will use it to wash down fried dough, fried chicken and many other delicious delicacies that are offered Friday through Sunday.

The Bridgewater Fair is held at 100 Main Street South in Bridgewater, Conn. The committee has released a full schedule of activities for the weekend-long event.
