NEW MILFORD, CT — Police say that a vehicle fell into the Housatonic River in New Milford Monday morning. The New Milford Police Department announced via Facebook that divers checked the river but did not find any victims.The car fell into the river on River Road near the Rooster Tail Hollow intersection. Police say the car is being removed and the incident remains under investigation. <a href="http://www.newstimes.com/policereports/article/Car-falls-into-New-Milford-river-11213523.php" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">The News Times</a> originally broke the story just before 12:30 p.m. Anyone with information should call 860-355-3133 or call the anonymous Tips Line at 860-355-2000 or email/text TIPS@newmilfordpolice.org.
