Christine B. Ritchie, 81, of New Milford, Passed Away Peacefully

NEW MILFORD, CT — Christine B. (Perrotti) Ritchie, age 81 of New Milford, passed away peacefully with her daughter Brenda, other family and friends by her side on Monday, July 18, 2016 at New Milford Hospital after a long illness. She was born in Danbury, April 3, 1935, daughter of the late Michael J. Perrotti, Sr. and Mildred (Sacco) Perrotti.

She attended Danbury Schools and was a New Milford resident most of her life. She worked for various manufacturing firms, most notably Eagle Pencil for several years until she retired after thirty years with the Nestle Company. Christine was married to Fielden E. Ritchie Sr. who predeceased her. Later on in her life, she enjoyed being with her great-grandson Julian and great-granddaughter Chloe, doing her crossword puzzle books, getting out and about everywhere and spending time with her family.

She was predeceased by sons Fielden G. Ritchie Jr. and Kenneth A. Ritchie; brothers Rocky, John and Michael Jr. Perrotti and sisters Theresa Piersall and Virginia Linnhoff. "Gram" will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Christine is survived by her son Gary Ritchie and his wife Tonia; their daughters Brittany, Marissa and Carrie; daughters Brenda Ritchie, and her children, Danny Jr. and Danielle Mayo and Ruth Ritchie and her children, Anissa, Jennifer and Lauren, sister, Gerry Morrissey; as well as many grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. At the wishes of Christine and the family, there will be no calling hours.
