Movie Being Shot In Downtown New Milford

Police said there will be traffic and parking impacts as a film crew will be on Bank Street on Thursday.

NEW MILFORD, CT — A film production crew will be in downtown New Milford on Thursday to shoot scenes.

Police noted parking on Bank Street and in downtown will be "temporarily disrupted" during filming.

The movie being shot in New Milford is "Convoy," according to Hearst Connecticut Media. The movie's plot hasn't been disclosed but will focus on Matchbox cars.

Children riding bikes and playing on the Town Green will be featured in the New Milford scenes, as well as 1990s-era cars, Hearst Connecticut Media reported. Five local businesses will also be featured.

***Traffic / Parking Alert***

A film production company will be filming scenes for an upcoming movie in the downtown area tomorrow, Thursday, May 1, 2025. Parking on Bank Street and in the downtown area will be temporarily disrupted. Signs designating no parking after midnight will be posted tonight in certain approved areas.

***All downtown businesses will remain open and accessible.*** New Milford Police will be on site to assist with intermittent traffic control and pedestrian safety.

It is recommended to park on the west side of Patriot’s Way and on the Southbound and Northern end of the Town Green. As filming progresses throughout the day parking restrictions will be lifted. This will be a one-day filming event. Please expect temporary delays.
