New Milford Bus Driver Shortage Causes Students To Be Routinely Late
A shortage of bus drivers in the district has some students arriving at school two and a half hours late, according to a report.

NEW MILFORD, CT — Parents are asking the district to find a solution to its bus staffing issues, which they say have caused their children to routinely be late to school for the first two months of the academic year, The News-Times reported.
At a recent school board meeting, one parent said his children came home an hour and a half late, while another parent said kids were dropped off at school two and a half hours late.
New Milford Superintendent Janet Parlato said at the meeting that the district is working with the bus company to resolve the issue.
