New Milford Church Break-In Probed

The suspect gained entry by breaking glass on an exterior door, police said.

NEW MILFORD, CT — Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man who broke into a local church over the weekend.

The man broke the glass on an exterior door and then entered Faith Church on Saturday at about 9:50 p.m., police said.

Aside from the door, nothing else in the building was vandalized, police said. Nothing has been reported as missing from the 600 Danbury Rd. facility, and the suspect’s motive remains unclear.

Police have posted multiple images of the suspect on their Facebook page in an effort to identify him.
