New Milford Cops Seek Help To ID Theft Suspect: PD

The man is suspected of stealing a wallet, then using a stolen debit card to go shopping, police said.

NEW MILFORD, CT — Police on Monday asked for the public’s help in identifying a man who is a suspect in a theft case.

Police said the man entered The Food Mart on Bridge Street on March 5 around 4:47 a.m. and attempted to buy about $95.68 worth of items with a stolen debit card.

The debit card and a wallet had been stolen from a vehicle on Gabriel Circle earlier that morning, according to police.
