New Milford To Hold Public Forum on Those Curve Warning Signs

The construction is being made possible by a federal grant meant to make curves on rural roads safer.

NEW MILFORD, CT — Think the number of curve signs being installed in New Milford is excessive? You will have a chance to speak out at a public information meeting Tuesday.

Signs are being installed or are already installed in New Milford on Little Bear Hill Road, Long Mountain Road, Ridge Road, Second Hill Road, South Kent Road, Barker Road, Big Bear Hill Road, Brown’s Forge Road, Gaylord Road, West Meetinghouse Road, Geiger Road, Squash Hollow Road, and Station Road. The construction is being made possible by a federal grant meant to make curves on rural roads safer.

The meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. at Town Hall in the E. Paul Martin room.
