"Troopers relayed the vehicle's information to Troop G Dispatch, who informed neighboring Police Departments of the incident," state police said. "Moments later, the Newtown Police Department located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop in their town, where Dehm was identified as the operator of the F-150."

Dehm was interviewed by state police, during which Dehm admitted to being involved in the incident.

"Dehm stated that he was upset with the other car, thought they were 'brake checking' him, and that he did punch the window one time," state police said. "Dehm was subsequently arrested without incident."

State police charged Dehm with the following:

  • Second-degree reckless endangerment
  • Reckless use of a highway by a pedestrian
