New Milford Man Killed In Crash In New York: Police
New York State Police said the Sunday morning accident remains under investigation.
NEW MILFORD, CT - A New Milford resident died in a two-car crash on I-684 in New York on Sunday morning, according to police.
New York State Police said the crash happened around 7:15 a.m. in the town of Southeast, near the Connecticut border.
Police identified the victim as Michael T. Keller, 65, of New Milford.

Police said a preliminary investigation shows that Makayla S. McIntyre, 23, of Mount Vernon, New York, was traveling northbound on I-684 when she lost control of her vehicle.
McIntyre struck a guiderail, veered across all lanes of travel, and then collided with Keller’s vehicle, according to police.

Both vehicles then left the roadway, struck the middle median, overturned and came to a rest in the center embankment of the highway, police said.
Keller died at the scene, while McIntyre was transported to Danbury Hospital with minor injuries, according to police.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
