New Milford Runners Finish Boston Marathon
Three New Milford residents were among the nearly 25,000 people who ran the Boston Marathon on Monday.
NEW MILFORD, CT — Three New Milford runners competed in the 2022 Boston Marathon on Monday.
Nearly 25,000 runners finished the marathon, including more than 350 from Connecticut.
Everett Hackett, 32, of Hartford was the top Connecticut runner at 50th place with an official time of 2:24:56. Laura Pierce, 40, of Woodbridge placed 127th among women and 2,251st overall with a time of 2:55:41.

New Milford runner Randy Watkins, 58, finished the race with an official time of 3:23:37, according to the Boston Athletic Association. Jon Binzen, 65, finished with an official time of 3:38:45, and Linda Malarkey, 52, finished with an official time of 4:17:57.
