New Milford Soccer Coach Accused Of Slapping Child's Face: Report

NEW MILFORD, CT — New Milford Public Schools officials are investigating with "utmost seriousness" reports that a soccer coach slapped a child across the face in late August, according to NewsTimes.

New Milford police confirmed to NewsTimes that the incident took place, but no one involved has been identified nor have any arrests been made, the outlet reported.

A parent of a New Milford student took the floor at Tuesday's school board meeting to address their concerns that there has been "no recent notice to the team or the school community regarding this incident and the future of this team’s leadership," resulting in the spread of fears and rumors in the community, the outlet reported.
