New Milford Traffic Lights Getting New Lamps: Mayor
The state is re-lamping streetlights in several Connecticut towns — and New Milford is among them, Mayor Pete Bass said.

NEW MILFORD, CT — Traffic lights throughout New Milford will soon get new lamps with longer life expectancies, town Mayor Pete Bass said.
The Connecticut Department of Transportation will re-lamp traffic lights in several towns throughout the state, including New Milford, transportation officials told Bass.
The streetlights that have LCD lamps with a life expectancy of eight years will be replaced with new ones with a life expectancy of 15 years, Bass said.
