New Milford Water Line Work Starts Monday
The project involves infrastructure upgrades and is expected to be complete next month.
NEW MILFORD, CT — Aquarion Water Company will begin performing infrastructure work in New Milford on Monday. The project is anticipated to be completed in August.
The work is to "ensure continued system reliability," according to a statement from Aquarion. The project, which will clean and line approximately 1,290 feet of water main, will take place on Harmony Trail. Once the project is complete, the Town of New Milford will begin paving.
The infrastructure upgrades will also help reduce leaks and water main breaks that can cause service interruptions.
