Popular Barbeque Restaurant To Open 2nd Location In New Milford

A Danbury upscale barbeque restaurant will open a New Milford location next month.

NEW MILFORD, CT — Upscale barbeque restaurant The Cue is planning to expand with a second location in New Milford, The News-Times reported. The new restaurant will be located at 59 Bank Street and is anticipated to open next month.

The space was formerly occupied by Duke's Tavern, which along with next-door establishment Cool Hand Duke's closed in June.

The Cue opened a location on Padanaram Road in Danbury in 2016. Before opening The Cue, owner Joseph Yorio operated a catering business, Gourmet to Go, for 20 years, according to The News-Times.

The Cue takes "a unique approach to contemporary BBQ," according to the restaurant's website.

Describing the Danbury location: "Our Pit is a custom-built 24-foot smoker that is on display off the main dining room. The kitchen is completely open, enabling you to view our chefs as they prepare your dinner to order."

The menu has plenty of barbeque pork offerings and entrees like Brisket Mac N Cheese, Smoked Lasagna, Chicken & Waffles.
