U.S. Navy Veteran Edward R. Freygang, Jr., 61, of New Milford, Passed Away

NEW MILFORD, CT — Edward R. Freygang, Jr, 61, of New Milford CT, passed away peacefully at St John Paul Health Care Center, on Wednesday, June 15, 2016.

Ed was born in Mount Kisco, NY, son of the late Edward R. and Ruth (Daywalt) Freygang, Sr. He attended schools in New Fairfield and served in the US Navy. Ed had worked as a night shift supervisor at the Citgo Service Station prior to his illness.

Ed is survived by his brother John (Ewa) Freygang of Newington and his sister Ruth Gregory of Danbury along with his nieces Anne (Jeremy) Baillargeon and Tamra Freygang of Torrington. There will be no calling hours. A graveside service will be held at Mountain View Cemetery, New Fairfield, on Friday, July 15 at 2 p.m. Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury CT is in charge of the arrangements.
