2 Coronavirus Vaccination Clinics In Newtown Friday

One of the clinics requires an appointment, while the other does not.

NEWTOWN, CT — Two coronavirus vaccination clinics will be held in Newtown on Friday, Jan. 14, one of which requires patients to sign up for an appointment.

The Newtown Health District is hosting one of the clinics, which will be held at the Newtown Community Center, 8 Simpson St., from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

This clinic is only giving out the Moderna vaccine for individuals who are 18 years old and older, and patients must sign up for an appointment.

The second Newtown clinic, which does not require an appointment, will be hosted by the DPH/Griffin Team at NYA Sports and Fitness, 4 Primrose St.

This clinic will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., and "is for all vaccine formulations and is for individuals age 12 and up."
