The organization tells about the fifth session of its Scratch Mentor Club and how its volunteers have been giving back to the community.

From Ben's Lighthouse: Our Scratch Mentor Club is currently in its fifth session at Reed Intermediate School. The program pairs high school mentors with 5th and 6th grade students, and focuses on building skills in the areas of perseverance, problem-solving, and working together collaboratively, all while having fun learning computer coding!

BLH Gives Back!

Over the past few months, our youth volunteers have been busy giving back to others! They sorted over 5000 pounds of food at Connecticut Food Bank, prepared food packages for 100 homebound people with Hillside Food Outreach, and supported Special Olympics Athletes during their annual bowling tournament. The compassion and commitment of our volunteers is truly making a difference in the lives of others.
