C. H. Booth Library: FREE Yoga Mat Classes w/ Beth Bierko via Zoom

Now that the holidays are over and before your weekend errands begin give yourself the gift of self care with a nourishing yoga class. This seventy-five minute class is open to all levels. Kripalu Yoga Teacher, Beth Bierko, will lead you in centering, warm ups, and yoga poses to unwind tension, build strength, improve balance and increase flexibility. Individual adjustments make poses simpler or more challenging based on your level of experience and ability. The final portion of the class offers time for guided relaxation, breathing techniques and a brief meditation to leave you feeling rested and rejuvenated. Beth infuses her classes with poetry, music and humor to bring greater beauty and joy to the practice.
NOTE: Registration is required to receive the Zoom link. Please plan ahead to register for this class no later than Friday January 6 at 2pm. A certified yoga teacher (RYT500) in the Kripalu style of yoga since 2003 Beth Bierko works with all age categories in addition to people with limited mobility, injuries and/or chronic conditions. Former director of The Rivertown Center for Yoga & Health in Dobbs Ferry, NY she lives to share the healing & energy restoring powers of yoga with others.
