Driver on Walking Trail Arrested for DUI: Newtown Police

Police say the man was stopped while driving on a walking trail at the Fairfield Hills campus.

NEWTOWN, CT — A New Fairfield man was arrested and charged with driving under the influence after police say he was stopped while driving on a walking trail on April 13. Officers stopped a gray Subaru Legacy at around 6:08 p.m. that was traveling east on the Fairfield Hills campus walking trail that parallels Wasserman Way.

Police say that after an investigation, Kevin Dibiase, 33, was arrested and charged with DUI. He was released on a $250 cash bond and is due in Danbury Superior Court on April 27.
