Newtown EDC Announces First Ever Restaurant Week, Concerts & More!
The Newtown EDC is gearing up for its first ever Newtown/Sandy Hook Restaurant Week, September 26 through October 2, 2016.

Newtown, CT — Summertime highlights the natural beauty of our surroundings. Newtown's waterways and hiking trails are available for all to enjoy the great outdoors. The EDC invites you to explore Newtown's woodlands and lakes. Newtown Forrest Association provides information on Newtown's various hiking, kayaking, birding, etc. destinations. After a day of adventure indulge in homemade ice cream at Ferris Acres Creamery orThe Holy Cow Ice Cream Shop. For outdoor entertainment, Newtown's Park & Recreation Department offers a Thursdayevening summer concert series at Dickenson Park with music for families of all sizes.
