Newtown Native Inducted Into Honor Society at University of Scranton

SCRANTON, PA (05/06/2016)-- Dena Riccio of Newtown was among the 52 University of Scranton students inducted into Alpha Epsilon Delta, the national honor society for health pre-professional students. For induction into the honor society, students must have completed at least three semesters of pre-professional health work, have a minimum grade point average of 3.2, and a science grade point average of 3.2 or higher. The University's chapter of the honor society was established in 1976.

Riccio is a senior majoring in the Panuska College of Professional Studies at the Jesuit university.
