How did you come up with the name? We wanted to be everywhere for our clients, always be “Around” when they needed us. So with that the name and our round shaped business cards were born.
Why start a business in this town? My wife was born here and my father in law, Bob Tendler, ran the areas top real estate firm here for 30 years. It was a natural fit for my family and I to put our roots here as well both to raise our kids and grow our business.

Briefly, what business are you in? I am Newtown’s top performing real estate agent and rank in the top 2% nationwide of all agents. I started when the real estate market crashed nearly 10 years ago and have grown a real estate sales practice that understands the challenges today’s buyers and sellers face.
What’s the most difficult moment or challenge you’ve faced as a business owner? A great question that I can answer in two parts. The first was beginning in the business when the bottom fell out. Home prices were plummeting, buyers couldn’t get loans and sellers had no equity. We had to learn in the most difficult of environments. Today the challenge is staying relevant and cutting edge. Today our clients know we are the best and expect us to deliver nothing but the best in service and marketing.

What’s been your favorite moment or proudest achievement since opening? Being Newtown’s number 1 agent for 3 years in a row has been both very gratifying and humbling. We strive to stay on top while realizing that it is our client’s continued support that keeps us there.
How does your business give back or get involved in the community? We have been fortunate to sponsor countless events throughout Newtown and Sandy Hook. I am most proud to have been twice elected to serve Newtown on the Board of Police Commissioners.
