Newtown Woman, 23, Charged With DUI: Police
Police say she was arrested just after midnight on Berkshire Road.
NEWTOWN, CT — A Newtown woman was arrested for driving under the influence Saturday night after she was stopped on Berkshire Road. Police say they stopped Brooke Ellen Leifels, 23, after receiving a report of erratic driving in the area at 12:04 a.m.
Police say they found Leifels driving near Great Ring Road and stopped her car. Police say she was arrested following a brief investigation.
Leifels was charged with operating under the influence and failure to maintain lane. She was released on a $100 cash bond and given a court day of July 6.
