Obituary: Bernadette Oliger, 47

Bernadette M. Oliger, age 47 of Brookfield died Thursday January 17, 2013 at Danbury Hospital. She was born in Denville, New Jersey on June 26, 1965 a daughter of Bernard N. Oliger of Brewster, MA and the late Frances (Longo) Oliger. Bernadette attended Newtown schools. She was a consumer at Ability Beyond Disability and resided at the Pleasant Rise Circle group home.

In addition to her father, Bernadette is survived by her brothers, David Oliger and his wife Kathleen and their children, Jake and Kristin and Gregory Oliger and his wife Margaret and their daughters, Audra and Jessica all of Newtown and by her Step-Mother Gisela Oliger.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday January 23, 2013 at 10:00am in St. Rose of Lima Church, Newtown. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. Friends may call at the Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown Tuesday from 4:00pm to 7:00pm.
