Police Blotter: Man Arrested for Knife in Car

According to reports, police pulled over a Hartford man in Newtown and, after investigating, found he was allegedly carrying what they say was a "large knife" in the car.

Errol Gayle, 48, of Hartford was arrested at 8:52 p.m. Thursday and charged with carrying a weapon in a motor vehicle, as well as failure to drive right on a curve and driving with a suspended license. He is scheduled to appear in court April 4.
