Seats Available for '17 Newtown Citizen Police Academy

From Newtown Police: There are still some seats left for the 2017 Newtown Citizen Police Academy which begins March 26th.

The Citizen Police Academy is a 10 week program for residents of Newtown and surrounding towns designed to teach people about the various aspects of law enforcement and law enforcement as it pertains to this area.

Classes are on Sundays from 3pm – 6pm and are taught by Newtown Police Officers and other local members in the law enforcement field. The Citizen Police Academy is a great way to interact with local law enforcement and discuss current issues facing the field of law enforcement.
