- The Booth Library Book Sale continues Tuesday with a special deal: $5 gets you a bag to fill with books of your choosing. The sale runs until 7 p.m. at Reed Intermediate School.
- Check out the Newtown Farmer's Market, featuring local vendors bringing their food and other products straight to you. The market continues until Oct. 22.
- If you're looking to pursue your acting dreams, you could audition for the upcoming play Tom, Dick and Harry, a comedy debuting September 13 at the Town Players' Little Theatre. Auditions run from 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
- Kids need to get in shape, too. Beginning at 10:30 a.m., CrossFit RedZone at 31 Pecks Lane offers kid's classes. You can sign up on their website.
- A tried-and-true way to beat the heat? Catch a film. Edmond Town Hall is currently showing matinees of superhero hit Iron Man 3. Screenings start at 1:00 p.m.
