Two people were injured, one seriously, in a Friday night crash on Botsford Hill Road in Newtown, officials said
NEWTOWN, CT — Two people were injured, one seriously, in a motor vehicle crash late Friday night on Botsford Hill Road, according to Botsford Fire Rescue.
The crash occurred around 9:22 p.m. in a curve on the road. Newtown medics arrived first and found two injured individuals, one with serious injuries. A second ambulance from Newtown Volunteer Ambulance Corps and an additional paramedic from Danbury were requested to assist at the scene.
Firefighters folded back and secured the driver’s door to allow for the safe removal of a patient, officials said. The road was temporarily closed while emergency crews worked.
