Was the Library Your Wi-Fi Hot Spot? Don't Worry, Help is Here

With the town's library closed for the foreseeable future as cleanup continues of the extensive water damage from a burst sprinkler system, many residents have found themselves looking for a free place to connect to the Internet.

In light of that, the town on Wednesday extended an open invitation for residents to use the wi-fi at the Municipal Center at Fairfield Hills.

"Residents who normally use the Internet access at the Cyrenius Booth Library have been displaced because of the severe water damage and resulting temporary closing of that facility," the message states. "The Municipal Center welcomes residents to use the town Wi-Fi at the Municipal Center while the library is closed."
