Poppy‘s restaurant has been serving North Branford for over 52 years. Within our 52 years of business, Poppys restaurant has never been closed  for more than a day or two. Not only did the shut down devastate and affect us. It also affected our customers.. over the years we have built a strong rapport with our customers in the community of North Branford with that being said we’re happy to report that we are now back in business and look forward to seeing you all each, and everyone of you were truly missed.

NORTH BRANFORD, CT — At this week's meeting of the North Branford Veterans Service Commission, veterans Robert Viglione and Edward Donadio were recognized with quilts from Quilts of Valor, Town Manager Michael Downes announced. Viglione served in the US Navy, with a rank at discharge of E4, from 1965 to 1971. Donadio served in the US Army, with a rank at discharge of E4, from 1961 to 1963. Veterans Service Commission member Chuck Larkins and his wife Claire, members of Quilts of Valor, made the presentation. The mission of Quilts of Valor is to cover service members and veterans touched by war with comforting and healing Quilts of Valor. "The town thanks Robert and Edward for their service to our nation," Downes said.
