BHcare Expands Genoa Healthcare Partnership, Opens On-Site Pharmacy At North Branford Location

NORTH BRANFORD, CT — BHcare recently ."celebrated the grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony of Genoa Healthcare Pharmacy, now located on-site at BHcare's North Branford location.

"Through this partnership, BHcare and Genoa Healthcare® are enhancing access to essential pharmacy services for our clients, staff, and their families," Town Manager Michael Downes noted. "Genoa Healthcare specializes in serving individuals living with mental illness, substance use disorder, and other complex or chronic health conditions, aligning perfectly with BHcare’s mission to provide comprehensive, compassionate care that promotes healing and wellness

The Genoa Healthcare pharmacy:
• Fills all medications (not just behavioral health medications)
• Can mail all your medications (at no extra cost) to your home or place of residence
• Organizes your pills based on the date and time you need to take them, making it easier to stay on track
• Cares for and gets to know each person on an individual level, serving as an extension of your care team

"We were honored to celebrate this ribbon cutting with several members of BHcare and Genoa Pharmacy's team," Downes said.

The event was also attended by state Representatives Robin Comey and Vincent Candelora, North Branford Assistant Town Manager Rory Burke, Chamber President Dee Jacob, and Chamber staff Rachel Rusconi and Maddie Gollaher.
