Calendar Alert: North Branford Tree Lighting & Santa Visit Dec. 2

NORTH BRANFORD, CT — In partnership with the North Branford Rotary Club, the town's Parks and Recreation Department presents its Annual Tree Lighting on Friday, Dec. 2. But it's far more than that.

Beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the Town-owned Augur property, 290 Forest Road, in Northford, the festivities will end at 8 p.m.

Planned are ice sculpting, marshmallow-toasting, hay rides, holiday music, a petting zoo, hot chocolate and cookies, food trucks, and of course, a visit from Santa.

Plus, kids can bring with them their own letter to Santa, Mrs. Claus, or their favorite elf or reindeer to the event. Click here to print and create a letter.
