Cheers! Now In Northford, Kent Falls Brewing Is Committed To 'Sourcing Ingredients Locally'

NORTHFORD, CT — With the ribbon cut, it's official.

"North Branford is excited to welcome Kent Falls Brewing to the town," North Branford Town Manager Michael Downes posted to social media.

Kent Falls opened as the first farm brewery in Connecticut at Camps Road Farm in Kent in 2015. They prioritize sourcing ingredients locally, with 95 percent of ingredients from within 250 miles. They are bringing this philosophy to Northford to create beer and an experience that are local and reflective of the land and the community, Downes said.

The brewery is offering the Full Pour Pils, a Northford location exclusive pilsner, as well as Buddy Sprinkles Goes to Northford, a special edition of their IPA brewed to celebrate the opening of the Northford location, Downes noted.

The original location in Kent will continue to offer curated tastings, while the Northford location will feature full pours and food trucks, he said.

In a post to its Facebook page, the brewery shared photos of its opening this past weekend, and updates, including announcing three new beers.

Kent Falls Brewing Co., is located at 418 Forest Road in Northford. Its hours are Thursdays and Fridays from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m., Saturdays from noon to 9 p.m. and Sundays noon to 6 p.m.
