NORTH BRANFORD, CT —Saying the measure is in response to the "COVID-19 Delta variant spread," the East Shore District Health Department announced Tuesday it has pop-up vaccine and wellness clinics slated for the rest of this month and into August in Branford, East Haven, and North Branford, as well as Guilford and Madison, in collaboration with those latter towns' health departments.

Noting that as, "Schools are looking to re-open in the fall with full, in-person education and our residents are looking forward to more in-person activities and events and workplaces," the health district says that it's "important for the safety of all our communities that everyone gets their vaccination."

The public pop-up COVID-19 vaccine and wellness clinics include the health district's "new and innovative" ESDHD Public Health Mobile Clinic.
