Poppy‘s restaurant has been serving North Branford for over 52 years. Within our 52 years of business, Poppys restaurant has never been closed  for more than a day or two. Not only did the shut down devastate and affect us. It also affected our customers.. over the years we have built a strong rapport with our customers in the community of North Branford with that being said we’re happy to report that we are now back in business and look forward to seeing you all each, and everyone of you were truly missed.

From The North Haven Funeral Home.Lucy Quinto Prusinski, 88, of Northford, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at the Connecticut Hospice, Branford with her family by her side. She was the beloved wife of 65 years to Stanley M. Prusinski. Lucy was born in New Haven on June 5, 1927; daughter of the late Aniello and Josephine Donnaruma Quinto and had worked as a file clerk for Blue Cross/Blue Shield. She was a member of the Northford V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary #8294. Mother of Stanley M. Prusinski and Steven N. (Terry) Prusinski. Grandmother of Jeffrey, Sarah and Juliane. Sister of Mary Bottone, Rosann Marchitto and the late Jennie Angelini, Anthony, Frank, Charles and Virginia Quinto. She also is survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.Her funeral procession will leave the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Ave., Wednesday morning at 9:30. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Monica Church at 10 AM. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. The visiting hours will be Tuesday from 5 to 8 PM.
