Poppy‘s restaurant has been serving North Branford for over 52 years. Within our 52 years of business, Poppys restaurant has never been closed  for more than a day or two. Not only did the shut down devastate and affect us. It also affected our customers.. over the years we have built a strong rapport with our customers in the community of North Branford with that being said we’re happy to report that we are now back in business and look forward to seeing you all each, and everyone of you were truly missed.

NORTH BRANFORD, CT — Jennifer Gurley-Langdon is North Branford's new Deputy Town Clerk. She was sworn in this week after unanimous confirmation by the Town Council Tuesday.Gurley-Langdon has worked in the Town Clerk's Office for the past four years as Assistant Town Clerk, and has recently completed her clerk certification. Lt. Governor Susan Bysiewicz was on hand to present Gurley-Langdon with her official Clerk certification from the Connecticut Town Clerk's Association last week during its fall conference. This culminates two and a half years of work and study in the field and passing five modules of examination, Town Manager Michael Downes said. The Town Manager appointed her to the post. Gurley-Langdon replaces Suzanne Ashman, who retired earlier this month.
