Poppy‘s restaurant has been serving North Branford for over 52 years. Within our 52 years of business, Poppys restaurant has never been closed  for more than a day or two. Not only did the shut down devastate and affect us. NORTH BRANFORD, CT — Four juveniles were taken to Yale New Haven Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries following a Wednesday night crash, according to police. Police Chief James Lovelace said police received multiple 911 calls around 11:04 p.m. reporting the two-vehicle crash on Clintonville Road near Pistapaug Road. Due to the impact of the initial collision, one of the two vehicles veered off the roadway, overturned, and came to a rest against a residence on Clintonville Road, police said. The impact caused minor structural damage to the home. North Branford Fire Department personnel had to extricate one juvenile operator from one of the vehicles, according to police. Police said the accident remains under investigation. Police did not release the names of the juveniles Thursday.
