Crash Sends 4 Juveniles To Hospital: North Branford Police

The two-vehicle crash happened late Wednesday night, according to police.

NORTH BRANFORD, CT — Four juveniles were taken to Yale New Haven Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries following a Wednesday night crash, according to police.

Police Chief James Lovelace said police received multiple 911 calls around 11:04 p.m. reporting the two-vehicle crash on Clintonville Road near Pistapaug Road.

Due to the impact of the initial collision, one of the two vehicles veered off the roadway, overturned, and came to a rest against a residence on Clintonville Road, police said.

The impact caused minor structural damage to the home.

North Branford Fire Department personnel had to extricate one juvenile operator from one of the vehicles, according to police.

Police said the accident remains under investigation. Police did not release the names of the juveniles Thursday.
