North Branford fire and police officials named “Shoreline Heroes”
A fire and police official were recently honored along with other shoreline police and fire officials at a banquet for their actions.
NORTH BRANFORD, CT - A North Branford police seargeant and and a North Branford fire lieutenant were recently named “Shoreline Heroes” for the work they do in the community.
Named to the prestigious honor were North Branford Police Sgt. Cort Sperry and Fire Dept. Let. Kenneth Ash.
They, along with heroes from Branford, East Haven and Guilford were honored at a recent banquet.

The annual banquet not only recognizes acts of heroism or bravery in the line of duty, but also serves to thank the men and women nominated by each town's police and fire departments for other worthwhile efforts and actions, such as community service involvement.
