Poppy‘s restaurant has been serving North Branford for over 52 years. Within our 52 years of business, Poppys restaurant has never been closed  for more than a day or two. Not only did the shut down devastate and affect us. It also affected our customers.. over the years we have built a strong rapport with our customers in the community of North Branford with that being said we’re happy to report that we are now back in business and look forward to seeing you all each, and everyone of you were truly missed.

North Branford police logs, May 5-12:May 8Caleb Allen, 19, North Branford, was charged with reckless driving. <a href="https://patch.com/connecticut/northbranford/branford-man-54-charged-fatal-march-north-branford-crash-nbpd">Dylan Ward, 54, of North Branford, was charged with second-degree manslaughter with a motor vehicle, second-degree assault with a motor vehicle and driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.</a>May 9Alexa Farkash, 26, of North Branford, was charged with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct. Khalil Legend, 30, of Hamden, was charged with second-degree threatening. Michael Lombardi, 69, of Branford, was charged with third-degree criminal trespass, fifth-degree larceny and possession of a controlled substance. May 10Brandon Michael McMechen, 29, of North Branford, was charged with risk of injury to a child, second-degree threatening/physical threat and disorderly conduct. Police provide all information. Charges are allegations, not convictions. All are presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
