North Branford Woman Reported Missing, Silver Alert Issued

Police are asking for the public's help to find a woman who was reported missing Friday morning.

NORTH BRANFORD, CT — The North Branford Police Department is asking for the public's help to find a 21-year-old woman who was reported missing Friday morning.

Taiya Busch was reported missing from a group home in the area of Dinwoodie Drive on June 27 around 7:45 a.m., according to police.

She was last seen running toward the woods near Dinwoodie Drive, and then later possibly seen walking west on Foxon Road around 10:30 a.m., police said.

Busch is described as a Black female, standing at 5 feet 2 inches tall, and weighing 168 pounds.

She has long braids, and was wearing jean shorts, a red Mickey Mouse t-shirt and a black hoodie, police said, adding that she has no phone or tracking device.

Police said Busch has a mental impairment.
