Poppy‘s restaurant has been serving North Branford for over 52 years. Within our 52 years of business, Poppys restaurant has never been closed  for more than a day or two. Not only did the shut down devastate and affect us. It also affected our customers.. over the years we have built a strong rapport with our customers in the community of North Branford with that being said we’re happy to report that we are now back in business and look forward to seeing you all each, and everyone of you were truly missed.

NORTHFORD, CT - (From North Haven Funeral Home) Candace J. Brezicki, 35, of Northford, passed away peacefully on March 21, 2022, at her home with her family by her side. She was born in New Haven on May 15, 1986 and was the daughter of Rudolph Brezicki Jr. and the late Rosemary Orifice Brezicki. Candace had worked as a secretary for Suburban Oil Company. She enjoyed all outdoor activities. Beloved mother of Brianna, Adrianna, and Jayden Brezicki. Loving sister of Rudolph Brezicki III and the late Joshua Brezicki. Sister-in-law of Nicole and Tiffany Brezicki. Also survived by her boyfriend Brett Malvezzi, her nephew Joshua Jr., niece Tessa and many family and friends. The visiting hours will be 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, March 25 at The Havens Family, North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. Panachyda service will be conducted in the funeral home at 6 PM. Family and friends are invited to go directly to St. Michael's Ukrainian Catholic Church, 569 George Street, New Haven on Saturday morning, March 26 at 10:30 a.m. to attend a Mass of Christian burial and are also invited to attend the committal service immediately following in Northford Cemetery.
