Parking Ban Issued, Alerts In Advance Of Incoming Winter Storm: Town
No parking on North Branford roads starting Monday until 24 hours after the storm's end, forecasted to drop 5–8 inches of snow, town says.

NORTH BRANFORD, CT — North Branford Town Manager Michael Downes has issued a winter storm advisory.
A Winter Storm Warning is in effect from 6 p.m. this evening until 6:00 p.m. tomorrow, Tuesday, February 28th. Heavy snow and some sleet is expected, with total accumulation of 5 to 8 inches. Difficult and hazardous road conditions could impact the morning and evening commute. Residents who must travel during this time are urged to use caution.

A Parking Ban has been issued by the North Branford Police Department from 6 p.m. this evening through to 24-hours following the conclusion of this storm event to facilitate the Department of Public Works clearing of streets. During this ban no vehicles may be parked on roads.

At this time all town offices will remain open as regularly scheduled.
PARKS, RECREATION and SENIOR CENTER
Stanley T. Williams Community Center and DiLungo Fitness Room are anticipating opening at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, February 28th. All morning activities and programs are canceled. Senior daily lunch and afternoon activities are projected to run as scheduled. Please check our website: www.nbcreation.com for updates.
TRASH COLLECTION
At this time all town trash collection will take place as regularly scheduled.
