Crandall serves as volunteer president of Connecticut Radio Fellowship, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that operates WIHS 104.9 FM Christian radio in Middletown. The station has been on the air 24/7 since October of 1969, providing listeners with hope and encouragement through live and local programming that includes preaching, teaching, devotionals, music, news, weather and traffic. In recent years, the station has significantly expanded its digital footprint by live streaming on ten different platforms, launching its own App for Android and Apple devices, a content-rich website, a weekly e-newsletter, and ongoing social media presence.
