A talented artist, she shared her heartfelt creations with loved ones. Before retiring, she worked as a secretary at Yale New Haven Hospital and as a waitress in West Haven, leaving a legacy of warmth and dedication.

Mary Frances Dessert, 78, of Northford, passed away June 13. She was a passionate reader who loved the Outlander series, Star Wars, and Star Trek. She found joy in quilting with her close-knit group, sharing creativity and friendship. Her weekly calls with her sister Toni Marie were cherished moments of faith and connection. Mary also enjoyed salon visits, often joking they were better therapy than a psychiatrist.
